Left/Top: It feels like lighthouses are really far away, so I wanted to create something that felt closer than a lighthouse…I wish I painted a crab somewhere in this painting, maybe even a crab shell.

Right/Bottom: When I went to make this piece, it felt like Angels were around me instead of the usual feeling of being pursued by someone/something. I can’t talk to the dead. Was I translating something?
EMOTIONAL WEATHER by Manji
I wanted to create something small that meant something bigger. I wanted to prove something that I knew I couldn’t prove. All I wanted to do was paint and it ended up looking like a painting. I wonder if it should look like something and what it does/doesn’t look like.
